Faculty Position in Atmospheric Sciences: The Department of Atmospheric Sciences, National Central University (NCU) in Taiwan invites applicants for 1-2 tenure-track faculty positions at the levels of assistant, associate or full professor to begin from 1 August 2015. Appointment will be made at a rank appropriate to the experience of the candidate. Outstanding candidates with Ph.D. degree and at least one-year independent research experience are encouraged to apply. We especially welcome applicants with expertise in one or more of the following research areas: climate, weather, and/or other potential specialties applicable to the department’s existing research programs. Particular consideration will be given to candidates working in climate analysis and modeling. The successful candidates will be required to (1) teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Mandarin or English, (2) develop strong research programs and publications, (3) supervise and mentor students, and (4) provide effective service to the department, university and larger professional community.
