Project:
Investigate the impact of chemical emission on regional weather and climate variations.
Starting date:
The positions are tenable for a regular period of 2 years (maximum of 3 years), and the positions are immediately.
Qualifications
Ph.D. (or close to completion) in atmospheric science, environmental engineering, physical or chemical related discipline. The candidates are expected to have some experiences in data assimilation (at least taken related courses), statistical analysis and numerical modeling. Computer skills for Fortran programming and Unix/Linux shell script are required.
This person will be collaborating with research teams in Academia Sinica (Planetary Science Laboratory), NTU (High-performance Computing & Environmental Fluid Dynamics Laboratory), and NCU (Data assimilation and predictability Laboratory).
